One Mile Lake Park Master Plan is an exercise in park management and design.
The park and beach are a unique environment minutes from downtown Pemberton, British Columbia with many user groups and stakeholders. These include the canoe club, dragon boaters, stand up paddleboarders, swimmers, bikers, hikers, picnickers, dog walkers, joggers, and more. This project proposed upgrades to the aging park, enhanced parking, safer and more intuitive circulation, and enhanced opportunities for the preservation of unique marine flora and fauna of this lake front park.
